Best known for her marriage to Cardiff City player Roger Johnson, Melissa Johnson has been thrust into the spotlight. Originally from Tenerife, she then moved to Bournemouth where she continued her studies before moving to the bright lights of London where she enrolled at ‘The Delamar Academy,’ becoming a fully qualified make up artist.

With her natural beauty Melissa decided to get into modelling, and soon found the jobs flooding in. Once she had established herself as a model & make up artist, Melissa decided she wanted to further her career and so went on to audition for numerous television programmes and pursue an acting career.
After several auditions, Melissa appeared in the likes of Midsomer Murders, Dream Team, Test the Nation, Poor Little Rich Girls, as well as the very popular ‘Footballers Wives’. Melissa has also appeared in Commercial Lingerie advertisements.

After marrying her childhood sweetheart Roger, Melissa gave birth to Brooke on the 20th February. Although 2009 has been a bumpy ride for Melissa and Roger who have had to deal with after birth implications and Roger’s near fatal football accident, she seems keen to keep positive and get back to her career.
Although she appeared in ‘Wags workout,’ Melissa is keen to remove the ‘wag’ stereotype she has been labelled with and feels that pursuing her acting career further, with serious dramas and television programmes will prove to the public that  there is more to Melissa Johnson than really meets the eye.
