Charlotte Mears qualifies as a Personal Trainer
Having always had a keen interest in health and fitness, ex-Wag and model Charlotte Mears has spend the summer back in the classroom where she pushed her self to the limit both physically and mentally on an intense course in order to gain her personal training and nutrition qualification.
Not just a pretty face, Charlotte has been a keen figure skater, boxer and golf player since her teens and has always taken care of her appearance, eating healthy and enjoying regular visits to the gym to help keep in shape.
“Going back to college and doing my personal training course was a complete shock to the system but I really got to grips with it and worked hard on the theory and physical assignments and studied hard to pass all my exams. I’m naturally very competitive and found myself setting personal goals throughout, I wanted to be the best, have the fastest times and the highest marks. I felt such a sense of achievement when I heard I had pasted and found the whole summer a very rewarding one. I cannot wait to get stuck into my first personal training job and will be heading back to London to build up my own client portfolio. ”Charlotte says.
Studying with Premier Training at Greens in Cambridge, Charlotte gained a Level 3 advanced diploma in personal training and nutritional advisory as well as a level 2 in studio instruction and can now teach spin, body conditioning, step, body combat and many other classes. Charlotte will be moving back to London in November where she hopes to build a portfolio of clients to get her personal training business off the ground.
A lot of women dream of having the perfect body and what better way to learn key fitness tips and skills than to train with someone who understands the pressures women are under and how the media can perceive the perfect girl.
“There is no such thing as a perfect shape or size, you just need to be comfortable in your own skin, keep a steady exercise regime and a healthy balanced diet. I want to see my clients achieve their fitness goals, whether they want to tone up, fit into their wedding dress or just want to shed a few pounds and get their bikini body ready for the summer, I will be pushing them every step of the way!” Charlotte adds.
